A GameBoy\Gameboy color emulator running into KoGaMa

# Game Boy for KoGaMa

A **Game Boy and Game Boy Color emulator** that runs inside the KoGaMa game as a script of the
[OpenKogama](https://github.com/openkogama/openkogama-server) `scripts` mod. It plays original cartridges (you bring
your own ROM files) as well as homebrew, with **controls you can rebind in the game**.

*Left: the bundled demo ROM idle. Right: with right, down, A and B held, which lights the indicators, inverts the
shades and moves the ball. This is the emulator's own output.*

- Game Boy (DMG) and Game Boy Color games, cartridges without a mapper, MBC1, MBC2, MBC3 (with the real-time clock),
MBC5.
- Controls: every button and shortcut takes two keys and is rebound from a window in the game; conflicts are resolved
for you; defaults live in an editable file; a server plugin remembers each player's choices.
- Battery saves (the game's own save files) and quick save states.
- Runs at full speed with room to spare, also in the worst case I could build (details below).

**There is no sound.** The scripting API has no way to play audio. The sound *registers* are emulated, so games that read them do not hang, but nothing is played.

Real games may still show bugs that only real games find. If one does, the
instruction-level and picture tests make it easy to tell whether the cause is in the core.

# Tested games:
Super Mario Land (GameBoy) **No flaws**
Tetris (GameBoy) **No flaws**
